I am now a member of this awesome new site called nwmotoring.com. There are several members who talk about cars, bikes, boats, and anything going on in society – current events, sports, celebrities, etc. You should check it out and join – it’s free and it’s a fun place to hang out and chat with other 16-30 year olds. You can have any type of car, bike, boat (or none!) and we have regular meets where everyone hangs out. You know you want to!

Easy Online College Resource
Are any of you considering going back to school? I checked out a pretty cool site a bit ago called Guide To Online Schools. I personally go to a classroom format school, but that’s because I’m pretty freshly out of high school and it fits in with my life. For those of you who are older or have kids – online colleges are a great option to think about. It’s the only site I could find that had real online college reviews – both positive and negative. Check it out!

GPS on Cell Phones: Great for Stalkers
With the newest technology of GPS enabled cell phones – we might as well have a sign that says, “find me.” This can have good and bad consequences, like anything. For criminals dumb enough to carry cell phones on them while attempting to hide – this is a great thing for society! This is also great news for cell phone users who dial 911 and need to be rescued. But for those crazy stalker ex-boyfriends, this is not the most comforting of things. The GPS, or Global Positioning System, tracks your geographical location by interpreting data from 3 or more satellites.
Cell phone GPS can pinpoint the location of a cell phone within about five meters, which is up to ten times the accuracy given to us by triangulation. Cell phone GPS system tracking has been a part of the technology that makes of cell phones since 2005.

The Importance of a Straightforward Headline
One of the most important things in my PR internship I learned was the importance of a catchy, yet straightforward headline. Writing news advisories and press releases was one of my key responsibilities and I learned through trial and error how to craft the ideal press release. This is the first thing and sometimes last thing a reporter will see, and since they read hundreds a day – you’ve got to get it right. Keep reading →

Universal Healthcare and the Election….
I went to Washington DC last weekend and attended a national conference on our nations economic state and what we, as citizens and youth, can do to improve it. The topic of one of the panel discussions I attended was universal healthcare and how this would effect us. However, the panelists had a strong democratic bias and I wanted to know the truth – aside from any political affiliations, including my own. Keep reading →
